Week in Photos #42 - Christmas Edition

Sorry that I haven't posted for so long! Christmas and being ill have just got in the way of my blog. I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and are still enjoying the holidays :)

My main present was a posh new camera so this post is quite photo heavy!

Dress, belt, shoes all Peacocks. Jewellery & tights all New Look.

Works Christmas party at The Celtic Manor Lodge. Amazing day and night as always, we were spoilt rotten with good food and plenty of booze. There were singing waiters who were fantastic, we all had personalised champagne amongst other gifts. I was awarded Employee of the Year!! Still can't quite believe that one but I have the certificate to prove it!

Christmas day. No photos of me as I was ill :( I still had a good day though and even managed to eat a three course meal, have the traditional Snowball and a few laughs. Spencer bought me an amazing new camera, so chuffed with that! I bought Spencer some charming mugs, that wasn't all I bought him though, I'm not that mean! There is also a photo of most of my gifts, I was a very lucky girl this year.
The day after boxing day was spent at the hospital visiting the out of hours GP and driving around chemists while feeling like death. I've had Quinsy previously and was quite worried that my very bad throat was going that way. The doc didn't actually give me a diagnosis but he seemed to suggest that it had gone that way and gave me all of this medicine to 'nip it in the bud'. Annoyingly the one lot of medication proved quite difficult to get hold of in liquid form, I had to have it in liquid form because even swallowing water was proving difficult by this stage. This actually resulted in a breakdown of tears in one chemist. Yes I am that pathetic when ill. Eventually my local Boots gave me the Penicillin as they had that in and ordered the other stuff for the next day. I'm now on the road to recovery! Annoyingly I can't drink for New Years Eve but its better than feeling like I did.

Being ill has meant that I haven't really done anything except lie on the sofa and take photos with my new camera! No idea what happened to poor Kitty in the one photo! Spencer finds the new mugs I bought him quite amusing, as do I.

As I was feeling a lot better today I had a cheeseburger from McDonalds :) Very naughty but I haven't eaten anywhere near enough rubbish this Christmas! Spencer had a meal which included chips, as you can see Kitty is quite keen on McDonalds chips!

Did you have a good Christmas? Despite feeling rubbish I've really enjoyed it, and the plus side to all this is that I've actually lost weight this Christmas, 2 and a half pounds!
