Week in Photos #47

I added a new ring to Lea's Gems. I haven't added anything to my little shop for ages now, I kind of lost heart in it but couldn't resist this cute cameo :) It is on sale for £5 with free UK P&P.

Pizza :) My week in photos doesn't seem complete without an unhealthy looking pizza! I've had a cold this week which makes me crave so much crap food. We bought a cheapy pizza from the Spar and then added Chorizo, peppers and extra cheese.

Talking of being ill! I've looked beautiful this week. My cheek has been swollen due to my wisdom tooth swelling up and my nose has been bright red due to my cold. My eyes have also been rather puffy. Not a good look! I've been taking apparently addictive tablets to try and numb my wisdom tooth.

Tesco's version of the Birds Eye Baked to Perfection fish. These are lovely, the only beef that I have with them is that the cooking instructions are wrong. I followed the instructions and the fish was still frozen in the middle! Come on Tesco, if you're going to rip of Baked to Perfection at least give us the instructions to bake it correctly! End rant.

First Creme Egg of the year - I did say I like crap food when I have a cold!

More fish :) Salmon with Nando's lemon herb mix on top, blooming lovely!

I've been quite partial to steak, portabello mushroom and cherry tomatoes recently. I added the Nando's mix to this steak, I prefer it plain if I'm honest.

I made Greek Lamb, its basically just diced lamb with garlic and the juice of two lemons baked in the oven for three hours on gas mark two - delicious!

Before going shopping on Saturday - wearing my cameo ring from Lea's Gems.

I've been clearing out the photos on my laptop and came across this FOTD that was never posted. I can't remember the shades of all the products that I used so won't be posting it but thought I'd show it here.

I made quite a nice breakfast this morning. Omlette with Maltesons sausage, onions, tomatoes and cheese served with Cheese & Leek vegetarian type sausages and red peppers & feta cheese - delicious.

Spencer finally put my 'cook' letters up in the kitchen.

They had an offer on Chinese food in Tesco, any two mains and two sides for £5, I could not resist this! It was delicious and such a bargain too.

We went to IKEA today where I bought some storage boxes for all the wedding stuff that I'm building up.

I've been being good this week and having Green Tea for breakfast. I'm slowly developing a taste for it. I find if I pop a slice of lemon it is drinkable. I do feel a lot better when I drink it, a lot less bloated than usual.

We decided to attend a festival today, it was up Blaenavon, it always snows up Blaenavon, but apparently the tiny bit of snow that fell was enough to send all the exhibitors home scared! It finished early due to 'adverse weather conditions'. By the time we got there no one was left. The pavement and grass were clear!

My mam has been digging out some of mine and my sister's old toys for my niece. I saw one of my old My Little Pony's up there today. I thought that I had given all of these away so got quite excited to see this, I snook it in my bag when my niece wasn't looking, I'll re-home it on a shelf in my bedroom. Evil auntie.

I'm trying to compose a 30 by 30 list. I'm struggling to think of 30. Any suggestions?

We had a meal at Table Table where I had the Duck Sausages from the specials menu, they were gorgeous and the red wine and currant sauce was to die for, we then shared a plate of puddings...

Saturday night I used the left over Greek Lamb and served it with Weight Watchers pitta bread, oven chips and some low fat garlic mayo for a healthier alternative to a kebab. We then watched Treasure Island with a bowl of popcorn and chocolate sauce, not so healthy!

Phew, I've taken a lot of photos this week! What have you been up to? Any snow where you live?

    1. The lamb was lovely, so simple to do too. I think next time I'll just pop it all in my slow cooker and leave it on all day, even easier x

    1. It is horrible, mine only tends to flare up about once every three months. Except this time! It went down and is now back up, not as bad as last week though so hopefully it won't come to much this time.
I really feel through babies when they go through it too, the pain of one here and there is bad enough x
