OOTD : Mid Week Meal

I went to Chimichanga in St Davids, Cardiff with the girls last night to celebrate two of their birthdays. We had a lovely evening and really enjoyed the food, they were a little slow and did make some small errors but there were ten of us. I'm not a great fan of spicy food so did struggle to pick my starter and main.

For once I actually had time to get Spencer to take a few quick snaps before I left so that I could do an OOTD. Spencer commented that I looked very sophisticated, although I'm not overly convinced that pink jeans are sophisticated!

Blazer & bag - Peacocks
Jeans & shoes - New Look
Blouse - Primark
Bracelet - Disney Couture
Watch - ASOS

After consuming the first course I realised that the jeans were a bad idea, three courses later and I was wanting to undo them! Floaty dresses for meals from now on me thinks...

What do you tend to wear when you go up for a meal?

  2. Love the pink jeans :) they look fantastic! I've been trying to find a green pair, but think something lighter and pastely might be more on trend x

    1. Thank you :) They had lovely mint green ones in New Look the same style as these. They also had bottle green about a month ago but I'm not sure if they still have them. xx

  3. The blazer really suits you, you look very chic! I do agree though, nothing hides a steak baby better than a floaty dress

    1. Thank you :) Chic makes a change for me!
Thankfully the blouse was floaty enough to hide my food baby, the jeans were just a little uncomfortable by the time I'd scoffed the third course! x

  8. Gorgeous outfit, I love the colours of your jeans with the pastel top :) I usually wear dresses when going out but was rushing tonight after work so wore a black polka dot blouse with jeans.. which I was also finding a bit tight after 3 courses!

I'm not a huge lover of spicy food but would definitely recommend the place if you are. If you do go the coconut pie pudding is amazing! xx

  10. I always wear something baggy for a meal out; once I start eating I can't stop! Those jeans look great with that top.
