I used the Deborah Lippman nail varnish remover mitt that I received in my December GlossyBox, review of that will be up tomorrow.
It has been freezing this week! As a result I've been wearing my hair down for work which is something that I usually cannot be bothered to do. Excuse my sexual PJs.
It snowed yesterday, which saw me going one step further than wearing my hair down, I wore a hat! This is something that I never do! You can view the full outfit here.
Talking of snow, this is our snow. Quite pathetic compared to what some people had but still enough to get me excited.
I've been taking part in #febphotoaday using Instagram. This is my favourite photo so far, this one was hands. If you're not sure what #febphotoaday is its basically a photo challenge in which you have to take a photo everyday.
I discovered that my local Tesco sell Reese's, why did I not know this?? This could go really badly though as this may result in buying some on every weekly shopping trip, I must resist!
I remember reading a while back that when you have chocolate cravings banana and Nutella warmed up in the microwave is a good substitute. It really is. The problem with this, I've now been having Nutella on everything...
Crumpets and Nutella...
Pancakes and Nutella. Seriously, one day I will stick to a diet.
Talking of dieting, I am healthy at times. Chicken breast cooked with garlic, lemon and thyme served with a salad, covered in my fave crispy onions!
Yesterday's healthy lunch of baked potato and plain tuna with salad. I bought these microwave jacket potatoes ages ago to try out and completely forgot about them, they got buried in the freezer along with all the frozen veg. They're actually really nice though, they only cost £1.50 for four from Iceland, can't go wrong. They are very handy to have in the freezer.
I went shopping Saturday and dumped everything on my bed while taking my haul photos. Next thing I knew Kitty crashed out amongst it all, bless!
I decided to go back to the Doctor about my spots, I haven't been for ages, six years was the last time. As I explained to the Doctor I'd given up hope on getting rid of them and hoped I'd just grow out of it, they started in the last year of Junior school and I'm 27 this year, don't seem to be growing out of them any time soon! He has given me these antibiotics to take twice a day, I have to go back in 6-8 weeks to review how they're doing. Fingers crossed.
When we went to IKEA last week Spencer managed to pick up the wrong size blinds. We decided to go back Wednesday evening after work. It was great, we parked right by the entrance, didn't have to queue for food and walked around without anyone bumping into us/standing in our way. We have decided that evenings will now be when we visit in future. We had our tea there, meatballs of course and we both decided to try the trio of puddings. It was lovely but neither of us managed to finish it.
We have an open fireplace which lets a bit of a draft in that isn't really ideal at this time of the year. Spencer put a quick fix there by covering a wooden frame with Christmas wrapping paper. We finally bought some material from IKEA to replace the wrapping paper! It looks lovely, its just a shame that Spencer put it up before ironing it! I'm hoping that if I keep soaking it in water the crease will come out, otherwise he is going to have to un-staple it and put it up again! We also bought a new reading lamp and some new blinds for the living room and the dining room, we're slowly replacing all the blinds throughout the house with these IKEA ones. The cats don't like them as they can no longer get on the window sill. We are keeping the dining room ones open so that they can still sit there, Flick loves it there when the radiator is on.
I went for a wander up the shop today and wore my new cat blouse from Primark, I'll be popping a haul post up shortly.
Saturday night Chinese, courtesy of Tesco. Delicious.
Today was the first Welsh game in the Six Nations, which we won - yay! I spent it with hot dogs and Rolo Cookies - stress food. Funny story about the hot dogs. A friend posted on facebook that he was watching the rugby with some tindogs. I thought this was a rather cool name for hotdogs using tinned sausages and then really wanted some so went up the shop and bought some. It turns out he refers to cans of booze as tindogs! I will now forever call hotdogs using tinned sausages tindogs.
I'm selling these lovely boots on eBay, no bids yet, ending tomorrow. I'm also selling a bag on there and am hoping to get a few more items up soon. Please check them out and help me raise money for my fast approaching Wedding!
My fox bag from eBay arrived :) I ordered it back on the 08 January and arrived on Friday (03 February) the downside to ordering cheap goodies from Hong Kong hey! I actually bidded on a brown bag, even though I love this bag I am quite annoyed because I Specifically chose brown because it would go with more things. I'm currently in talks with the seller about how to resolve this.
What have you been up to this week?
