Carmine Box : January Edition

I was lucky enough to win the January Carmine box in Dawnie's giveaway. I've also signed up to Carmine and received their February box which will be in my next post.

Carmine say : Wish you'd been somewhere warmer for Christmas? Not to worry, we're kicking the year off with a little treat from sunny Greece! This organic, wild rose face cream will not only brighten and repair your complexion, it will also pump up the hydration for a full 24-hours! So drink up!

I say : I received this in my November Boudoir Prive box. You can view my final thoughts on it here. I was happy to see this again.

Eldora False Eyelashes B110 full size £4.25

Carmine say : If you haven't already flirted with falsies, this is the year to do it! Whether you're going for a bit of extra length or a subtle touch of sparkle, Eldora's false eyelashes are a perfect way to turn up the glam.

They have given us a code for 50% off the full range when spending £15 or more.

I say : I'm no pro when it comes to eyelashes and am always on the hunt for the perfect, easy to apply pair. I was chuffed to see these in the box and look forward to trying them out. They don't seem stiff which is good, I can never apply stiff lashes.

Balance Me Radiance Facial Oil 5ml value approx £7.50

Carmine say : No time for a New Year facial? Not to worry, this 100% natural face oil will dramatically renew your skin and make you literally glow. Try massaging onto your face and neck before your moisturiser (day or night) - your skin will definitely thank you!

They have given us a code for 10% off the full size facial oil.

I say : Facial oils do scare me as I have greasy skin. I do like the sound of this though and will be trying it out shortly. It smells lovely, very subtle but nice. I like the roller ball applicator.

Westlab Himalayan Pink Salt 100g value approx £0.57

Carmine say : Straight from the Himalayan mountain range, this natural, mineral-rich treasure will transform a 30-minute soak in the bath into a detox that's equivalent to a 3-day fast! So you can relax, refresh and repeat!

They have given us 30% off the Detox and Revive Kit.

I say : I look forward to giving these a try. Carmine certainly hype these up quite a bit! I do enjoy a nice soak in the bath with bath salts so look forward to giving them a try.

Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Charcoal 4g full size £10

Carmine say : Take it from us - this chubby stick of soft, creamy colour does double-duty as a liner and a shadow to create the perfect smoky-eye that will never go out of style. Available in 6 different shades and high gloss for you to make a variety of sexy, smoky looks.

I say : I was very pleased to receive this. I love Eyeko's new image and am eager to try out the products. The above swatches are top one swipe, bottom blended out. As you can see this is quite a versatile little tool!

In summary...
Total box contents approximately £27.07.
I received five products, two of which were full size. All products will be used.
Very impressed with Carmine's offerings so far.

You can subscribe to Carmine for £10 + £2.75 P&P per month.

  1. I used the bath salts tonight - wasn't too impressed with them, to be honest. I love the Korres cream though - that was probably my favourite in the box. I think I prefer the Feb box though all in all.

    1. I prefer the Feb box too, I love receiving make-up products in these boxes so the Feb box suited me perfectly.
Shame that the bath salts aren't much good x

  2. The eyelashes look really pretty...I hate trying to fiddle around with stiff lashes as well - I usually get fed up and not bother! I like the look of Eyeko's new products, I keep meaning to try them, I did get an eyeliner in my one and only Glossybox which is pretty good :) xx

    1. I always give up with stiff lashes too! One day I will master them!
I received one of their eyeliners in a GB and its great x
