NOTD: ELF White & MUA Glitter Quake Pink

I am kind of over the whole crackle trend, I am, however, still pretty much in like with glitter crackles.

I applied Sally Hansen diamond shine, two coats of ELF White, MUA Nail Quake Glitter Crackle in Pink followed by another coat of Sally Hansen diamond shine.

For some reason I always automatically reach for a black undercoat when wearing crackles, I decided to mix things up a bit with a white undercoat. I think this is a nice fresh look for the Spring.

As I'd never tried the MUA glitter crackles before I applied it a little differently on both hands to see which effect I preferred. On the left hand (top photo) I applied a very thin layer, on the right hand (underneath photo) I applied thickly. I applied a little too thickly on the ring finger and didn't like this effect. Apart from this I like both effects although I do slightly prefer the thin application.

MUA Glitter Nail Quake in Pink £2.99
ELF Nail Polish in White £1.50

White application do you prefer? Are you over the crackle trend?

P.S. Apologies for the sorry state of my nails/skin!

Disclaimer : MUA kindly sent me the glitter nail quake for consideration.

  1. You've made me need to go out and buy this crackle! I love MUA's, for so cheap they're actually one of the best. They look great together, just ordered loads of nail items for the blog! :D
