Week in Photos #65 (A Royal edition)

Am I the only one who is treating today like Sunday? << Yep, that there is my excuse for this post being late!

Best hangover food ever, spaghetti, tuna, sweetcorn & peppers with butter.

Amazing fishcakes from Tesco

Finished this book and absolutely loved it, I think its the fastest I've ever read a book!

Lovely Jubilee presents from the partners in work.

I love my new Peacocks skirt! I wore this when I went out from work on Friday evening, I was pretty drunk at the point that I took this photo hence the blurriness ha!

Soup with a toasted bread roll and pate - yummy

Pepper stuffed with tuna, sweetcorn and cheese

Cute Flick

We went to a Jubilee BBQ on Sunday despite the rain (we're Welsh, we're used to BBQing under gazebos!). It was absolutely fantastic, we didn't leave until 5am!

Kate and I both wore our Queen masks which led to quite a lot of entertaining photos!

Like this one!

A random egg on the BBQ and the amazing skewers that I made. They are turkey mince and pepper rolled into meatballs and marinated overnight in mango chutney with Mediterranean grilling cheese.

We went to a street party in my local area yesterday, there weren't many parties around here so people travelled quite far to come to ours, it was absolutely heaving.

I was a little fragile at the street party and decided to try some hair of the dog, it was gonna be kill or cure, thankfully it was cure!

We also had a very yummy Hog Roast at the street party.

I cannot believe the amount of alcohol I have consumed this weekend. I've been drinking like an 18 year old again! Today is all about PJs and R&R to get myself ready for work tomorrow - thankfully we're only there for 3 days!!

How have you celebrated the Jubilee?

  1. Every single time I read one of your week in photos posts I wanna go to the kitchen and make things. As I get hungry. Other times I want to go shopping (omg, that skirt!). And this time I want to do both.
    *sigh*

I had toothache all weekend so no celebrations for me! Just watched everything on the TV with painkillers!

Hope work's not too bad, I've got the rest of the week off! xx
