Week in Photos #69

I've hit 500 followers on GFC!! Thank you so much guys!

Buffet tea one evening :)

I went to the Doctors about my spots, again. For once I actually left feeling quite positive. The Doc told me that the current tables I'm on aren't a high enough dosage. He asked me what I wanted, I did say Roactatine but he was hesitant to give me that as I'm getting married in November and he didn't want me suffering with the side effects for the Wedding, he did say that if I'm still suffering after the Wedding we will go down that route. For now he has given me these tablets and a lotion, I have to go back in 10 weeks. Hopefully I'll be going back saying that they've worked *crosses fingers*

Yum, yum. Turkey, peppers and onions cooked in red wine and served with pasta.

Chicken stir fry, again with added red wine.

I went for a meal with a friend on Thursday, I had chicken New Yorker served on sizzling peppers and onions with chips & cheesy garlic bread - amazing!

Obviously there was a pudding! I ordered and paid for the standard chocolate waffles and was given the sharer! I had very good self restraint though and only ate half.

I finished this book this week. Its an amazing, inspirational book, despite it being very sad I almost cried with happiness at parts of it. Read it if you haven't already.

I'm now starting on these, may take me a while! I'm gonna be late jumping on the 50 shades bandwagon!

Love my new Orange Circle tee :)

Stupid cat.

My attempt at making ice cream cakes, these were the best of a bad bunch! I followed Katy's recipe. They took longer to bake in my oven, which resulted in rushing and icing when the cakes were still warm, hence the drippy mess! I think it kind of makes them look more like ice cream though! I also didn't have enough icing sugar so didn't have much icing. I will try again another time.

We visited the Garn Lakes today where they had a Heritage Festival. It was a great day. We had a ride on the old steam train which reminded us all of Harry Potter!

In other non-photographed news, I finally did it, I lost enough weight to fit into my Wedding dress!! So excited, it now fits me perfectly! I didn't actually think I'd do it.

I hope you've had a great week :)

Buffet tea is great, they have all nibble-y type stuff on offer in Tesco at the moment so I can't resist it on my Monday evening shop! Like I can be-bothered to cook something decent by the time I get home after work & shopping! xx

  10. 500 followers, well done! Bet that feels good.
I am so unbelievably intrigued by those ice cream cakes!? How random! Will have to check out the recipe. I've read all of those Dave Pelzer books, they are just shocking, aren't they? It's unbelievable to think that these things actually go on. So sad, but I agree, also really inspirational how he came out the other side :)

The Dave Pelzer book is shocking, horrid to hear that things like that go on in real life, but so good to hear how he turned it around for himself.
