Week in Photos #72

We bought this Thai Curry kit from Tesco and it was absolutely lovely. Very easy to make and very tasty. I did think it was a little expensive for what it was but I would buy it again for a treat.

Finished the second True Blood book. I'm loving these books so far, this one was particularly gripping.

Quiche served with pepper stuffed with tuna and cheese.

I'm sure by now you've all heard of What's in My Handbag. Well if not, I highly recommend signing up. They have weekly 'trys' and you can register for them each week. I was lucky enough to be picked and was sent this completely free :)

Why are Jaffa Cakes so addictive? You eat one and the next thing the whole pack has gone!

Sunshine :)

I received my electronic cigarette and am looking forward to seeing if this helps me quit. I only tend to smoke socially nowadays but really, really struggle to stop that, once I've had a drink I loose all willpower! I'm hoping that this will be enough for me when drinking. I'll keep you updated.

My hair for our Saturday morning trip to town.

A new sweet shop has opened up in our local shopping centre. We got quite excited! Both of these are amazing!

I couldn't resist trying the new cookie frapuccino from Starbucks. It didn't disappoint.

I finally got around to buying a new bar :) I kept getting this infected as the bar was too big and kept catching on things, hopefully this will now stop.

I went to Ponty's Big Weekend yesterday, I go every year as its a fantastic day out and the closest I get to the festival experience! This was the line up. In fairness we spent most of the day in the pub so only saw from Angel onwards.

Festival life :)

FIT!!!!

We went into Cardiff after the gig and were quite shocked at this pervy mirror on the ceiling in the yard!

I make a mean omelette! Best hangover cure ever.

I partied, Spencer stayed in and made cake :) He made an amazing peach cheesecake using my new Philadelphia cook book.

We popped to The Range in Newport today and bought this new rug to go by the back door. Love.

The yummy tea that I ate tonight :)

What have you been up to this week?

P.S. Sorry for the delay in posting this, my Instagram pictures weren't showing up in my Twitter for some reason so it was a bit of a 'mare!

    1. We did want to see Lilygreen & Maguire as we'd been told they were good, one drink led to a few more though and we were too late!
Diana Vickers was okay. I saw her once before when she played her first album and that was great. This time she played some new stuff and I didn't really enjoy it, it all seemed quite dancey :-/ I'm hoping it'll sound better on the radio as I usually love her stuff! x
