My August Crafty Creatives box arrived yesterday, too much excitement! This box actually excites me more than the beauty boxes, whether that is just because its new or exciting or it is actual love is yet to be seen.
The theme of this month's box is nautical which I absolutely love! The card is designed by Anthony Peters who lives by the sea! You can visit his website here. I'm loving some of his work and would love to have a print of his hanging in my living room when we get around to decorating. I have no idea how to purchase one though :(
As you can see this month's box was jam packed again and worth a lot more than the £10 subscription fee.
Altogether we received : Driftwod, 2 coconut shell fish buttons, 1 boat wheel pendant, 3 large wooden bunting flags, 3 porcelain fish beads, 10m of coloured paper string, large square of hessian material, small bag of red/white/blue buttons, 1 string of glass pearls, 3 sheets of nautical paper, 5 little starfish pendants and 2m of flag ribbon & 3 blank tags from janemeans.co.uk.
On top of all that was our make for the month, which is a nautical bracelet, the waxed cord of which came from The Bead Shop.
I'm so excited about this month's make! Even though last month's was a great idea it is something that I wouldn't personally wear. A bracelet however is a) something I have been wanting to make for a while and b) something I'll wear loads!
I'm guessing the question on a lot of people's lips will be "are you actually going to use the stuff provided?". Knowing me the answer will be no as I am lazy! On a serious note though, a lot of the stuff that I have received has already gone into my Wedding box and will come into great use and the bracelet will definitely be made as will the bunting. I'll also probably re-use the cute 'You're a star' envelope. As for the rest of the stuff, who knows? I'm going to buy a nice box to keep it all in and dig it out on rainy days.
So far I'm loving Crafty Creatives - keep up the good work girls! You can subscribe here for £10 per month + P&P.
