A Day in Jenny Craig : Day 3

If you're a regular reader of my blog/follow me on Twitter/Instagram you'll already know that I am doing the Jenny Craig diet*. So far it is going very well and I have stuck to plan 100%. I can honestly say that this is the only time in my life that I have 100% stuck to a diet. It is going very well so far, I just hope that this shows on the scales come Monday morning!

This is what I ate on day three of the diet:

Porridge with raspberry (provided), 1/2 milk and one fruit.
For the 1/2 milk I had a fromage frais, I then added a sliced banana to my porridge for the fruit portion.

Morning Snack & Lunch
Mid morning snack - one milk. I chose one low fat yoghurt.
Lunch - Jenny Craig pasta in cream sauce (provided) with salad. I decided on peppers and carrots for my salad choice.
(I took the nectarine to work in case I got hungry as we have unlimited fruit, I didn't need it).

Afternoon Snack
I chose a packet of Jenny Craig lightly sea salted potato bites (provided). I really like these crisps, they are a lot saltier than I expected which I really appreciate :)

Chicken Provencal with Duram Wheat (provided) with cooked vegetables. One cal spray is unlimited so I stir fried my veg with this. This meal was delicious. I've never tried Duram Wheat before so it was a pleasant surprise. I will be buying this again.

Free food
We have unlimited foods that we can eat as much of as we like, such as fruit. We also have limited foods of which we can add a maximum of three into our diet each day. I don't tend to use all of these but I do enjoy having one of them in the form of a 40 calorie or less hot chocolate.

Evening Snack

My snack for that evening was fruit. As sugar free jelly is in the unlimited food option I thought I would turn my fruit into more of a pudding by slicing up a peach and adding it into sugar free orange jelly which is something that I never do but really enjoyed. This was such a refreshing pudding to have after my main, may do this more regularly!

  1. I'm doing this too, though I was told fruit is not unlimited..I'm only allowed it when told by my meal plan or I can have it included in my 3 limited pieces but only melon, strawberries or grapefruit.

Maybe your plan has been made differently, but jsut a heads up. For unlimited it's just non starchy veg as far as fruit/veg.

    1. Thanks for the tip, it is definitely a very big possibility that I have read it wrong! Thankfully I haven't eaten any extra fruit other than when the plan tells me as I haven't felt that I've needed it.
Massive thanks for the heads up though x
