NYE Outfit and Make-up

Happy New Year!

Please bear with me about the poor quality photos, my tripod wouldn't stand straight, my camera wouldn't focus and then people started knocking at my door so I gave up! Hopefully you can get the gist of how I looked from these few poor photos!

My dress and tights are both from Primark, the tights are the microfibre ones which I love, they are super cosy. I bought my dress towards the end of December for £15. The boots cost me £12.50 in the New Look salef - thanks to Gemma for telling me about them! They are super comfy and the glitter means that they are still nice for a night out. They're now reduced to £10 but they only have the tan left in a size 5. I may have just ordered myself a pair with the New Look gift card that I had for Christmas... (link).

I used my new Enrapture Encode Totem Styler on my hair, I am so impressed with it, I love how much control the tong gives you.

I actually used false eye lashes, this is a miracle for me. I suck at applying them but these Urbanista ones weren't too bad at all, I used the glue that came with them. When I received these for my Christmas present at #SWBXmas I knew I wanted to wear them for New Years Eve. (link)

I dug out my Urban Decay black palette for my eyes, I used Cobra all over the lid and Black Dog around the edges, I also used the Zero eyeliner from this palette in my water line. My foundation is my good old trustworthy Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in Very Light. I finished off with Famous First Date Blusher in Scarlett* (another bargain, currently on offer for £2.49 - link) and MUA's Lip Boom in Bring It*, I used both the lipstick and gloss all over my lips.

We had a fantastic time, we went to a local club, they had a live band and you could take your own food. It was quite odd rocking up in our party dresses with food bags! We didn't stop nibbling all night! We then came back to my house and let off some fire lanterns which was lovely. I normally don't enjoy new years eve as is too busy and full of drama. This year I had a fantastic time.

How did you celebrate the new year?

    1. Thanks Gaby, the tongs were surprisingly easy to use, especially considering that I have really thick hair and am useless at styling it!
      Happy New Year :) Xx

  6. Love your shoes, and your hair looks beautiful! I've never worn false lashes (too scared of messing up the glue) but I will try them one day! xx
