I love this picture of Kitty absolutely flat out, bless her.
I've decided that I'm going to try doing at least one thing in my slow cooker a week. The meal of choice this week was a nice easy Schwartz sachet that made gorgeous beef & ale stew. Served with cheesy garlic bread it was ideal comfort food for this cold spell.
I love my new phone background courtesy of Deep Fried Freckles.
Kitty being cute once again. She was actually asleep on my head but woke up when Spencer got his phone to take a photo. She loves sleeping on our heads, weird cat.
Flick really needs to start doing more cute things so that I can add more photos of her.
We went to Spencer's auntie's house in Southampton yesterday for a belated Christmas gathering. I received this lovely Elemis set that I am very much looking forward to trying out.
I decided to use this lovely candle holder for its intended purpose, I have been using it to store cotton wool up until now! I received this from Kimberley in a blogger Secret Santa last year.
Another Christmas present, we received this from Spencer's parents, I finally found it a place to live today.
Some of the many food goings on of the week. I made turkey burgers, they were lovely just a bit dry. I serviced them with Coconut rice, gorgeous combination.
This chocolate cheesecake from Tesco is pretty amazing.
It was Spencer's turn to cook Friday, he ordered Dominos. I love the personal pizzas, they're so cute.
Another one of Spencer's meals, he actually did cook this time! Steak with tomato, mushroom and cheesy garlic bread.
Cottage pie and veg, lovely :)
Chilli and rice, I used Tesco's own chilli sauce and wouldn't recommend it, it was quite bland. Thankfully we had lemon and corriander flavour rice so there was plenty of flavour there.
Today I finally made the perfect poached egg, I usually fail miserably, I've even bought egg poachers which are useless. I'm so proud of myself!
We popped into town today and I picked up this throw in Primark reduced to £10. I've been fancying it for quite a while so couldn't leave it there when I saw it reduced by £5.
I almost gave in and failed dry January yesterday as I knew all my friends were out and really wanted to be there. By the time we got home from Southampton I was too tired so resisted temptation. I did have two lager shandy's yesterday but am not counting that as a fail, the only reason I'm doing dry January is to save money and they were free, plus there isn't really that much alcohol in a shandy!
