Benefit b.right Radiant Skincare Set

Now that I'm approaching my 30s (yikes!) I really need to get into a decent skincare regime. This year I decided that I would come off all of my tablets and creams that the Doctor has prescribed for my acne and try a few different brands.

I saw this Benefit set in Debenhams and thought that it was the perfect way to try out a new brand without spending too much money. You receive six miniature products in a handy travel bag. The products are Total Moisture Facial Cream, It's Potent! Eye Cream, Refined Finish Facial Polish, Foamingly Clean Facial Wash, Triple Performing Facial Emulsion and Moisturize Moisture Prep Toning Lotion.

On first impressions I was very impressed with the kit, the packaging of the products is gorgeous and looks impressive on my dressing table.

I've been using all of these products for a while now. My spots haven't cleared up, if anything they have gotten worse but my skin always reacts when I change my skincare so this was to be expected. Spots aside I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. I have greasy skin with dry patches. It does still get greasy but it is no where near as bad. The only dry patches that I tend to get now are the ones left by those pesky spots. My complexion actually looks a lot brighter and healthier.

I will point out the downside that I have experienced with this kit, the packaging. As I said above on first impressions the packaging is one of the things that drew me into purchase this, it is quite ironic that it is now the only one thing that would potentially put me off re-purchasing. The pretty glass bottles that you see are a nightmare for getting all of the product out. The moisture prep isn't too bad as its very runny but the moisturizer is a nightmare to get out when it starts to run low. It is currently sitting upside down on my dressing table, it doesn't look so pretty now!

The other small downside for me is that it takes a while for my skin to get used to a change in skincare, I found that the face wash sample wasn't big enough to get a real feel for it, I did have to purchase the full size before I knew if it worked for me or not.

These two small glitches aside I highly recommend this set if you are looking into experimenting with your skincare range.

It is no longer available in Debenhams and I'm not sure if they'll have it back as it is limited edition, though it did run out just before I bought it and was re-stocked quite quickly. I have found it in stock at Feel Unique where it is also priced at £10.

What is your favourite skincare range? Have you tried the Benefit range?

  1. I used to use a benefit moisturiser all the time and really liked it, until they stopped making that particular one (Can't remember the name!). Now I use Nivea instead and it's much cheaper!

    1. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Nivea moisturisers, may give them a go as this is almost running out and I can't afford to replace it right now! x
