I, along with many others, leapt at the chance to buy some Dainty Doll products for the bargain price of £1.99. I bought two blushers and two lipsticks, so far I have tried out the one blusher, Hippy Shake.
If you haven't heard of Dainty Doll (where have you been?) it is a line of cosmetics created especially for us pale skinned beauties by Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud. I've previously reviewed some eyeliners from the range which you can view here.
The packaging is nice and simple, black with the logo in gold. There is a handy mirror inside the compact.
The colour pay off is brilliant and the product easily picked up on a brush. What shocked me is that I'm actually not pale enough for this colour! It barely shows up on my skin and in certain lights it can make me look ill.
What did impress me is that it leaves a pearlescent type finish on the skin which works lovely as a highlighter. I applied my normal blush straight over the top of this as it was hardly showing and it left a wonderful glow which lasted all day.
I bought this from Fragrance Direct for £1.99 (link), it usually retails at £13.50.
