Updated Bedroom Tour

I say updated tour, looking back at my Through The Keyhole posts it doesn't look as if I ever made it to the bedroom! It has changed quite a bit over the years, I'm slowly but surely getting it to the room that I want, I have to do a little at a time so that Spencer doesn't realise how girly its getting :)

IKEA Bedding with Primark throw
Moustache and LOVE cushions - Primark
Owl cushion - Home Bargains

Washi tape shelf edging - eBay
My Little Pony - mine from my younger years
Reed diffuser - Primark
Lamp - IKEA

Dressing Table - Dunelm Mill
Curtains - IKEA

Cotton Wool Jar - dotcomgiftshop

The Laduree box came from Laduree in London, along with some yummy Macaroons :) I use this box to keep my pills in, it looks a lot tidier than pill packets.

Acrylic lipstick holder - eBay
Acrylic Drawers - eBay

Both decorated with Washi tape

The jar on the left is an old curry sauce jar, I stuck some lace on it and tied jute string around the top. The vintage bottles are my a shop in Chepstow. The genie lamp & rock are souvenirs from my Egyptian Honeymoon and the badge is a souvenir from our Wedding.

You may have noticed that I've only really shown one side of the bedroom, that is because Spencer's side is a mess. There isn't anything exciting there, just a floordrobe.

You never know, one day I may actually finish my Through the Keyhole series!

  1. I love the washi-tape shelf edging, bedding and dressing table/mirror! All so pretty. My husband and I are just about to move and I'm so looking forward to finally being able to make our place feel like home. I keep pointing pretty things out to him that I want in our room and he's been complaining it'll be too girly, so I think I'll have to take a leaf out of your book and sneak things in gradually, haha.

  4. Hi, I love your room :) it's right up my street. I'm glad you've kept your side girly and have your personal touch in there. Id be afraid what a Boyf/husband thought, I've been told to keep it neutral in the past :( now it just me yey! I doubt though my current partner would care much of we ever move in together :) axx

    1. If it was just me it would probably be ridiculously over the board girly, sometimes its good to have someone neutralise you haha x

  7. I love your room, especially the dressing table, it's my dream dressing table! It was too big at the time for my room. The quote is so cute too.
