Review : Sleep in Rollers Emergency Curly Blow Kit

Sleep in Rollers have branched out quite a bit and now do a lot more than just their original pink foam rollers. When I was offered an item to review from them I couldn't resist trying something from their new faux hair range. The emergency curly blow kit immediately stood out to me as it sounds so easy and the results look great.

Ever felt the urge to go out last minute, or maybe you struggle doing your hair whilst your on holiday?

Another solution created by Sleep In Rollers........ full weft of hair on clips.

Simple instructions are enclosed with the set showing you how to fit your new hair.

Also included in the set are 10 small Sleep In Rollers and a velour pouch with kirby grips.

Once you have worn your hair simply pop the rollers in and leave the weft of hair ready for its next occasion.

Available in the following colours:
Dark brown
Medium brown
Golden blonde
Pure blonde

Width: 240mm Length: 300-400mm

The kit is very well presented. It comes with the hair weft, good quality kirby grips in a velour pouch and a packet of rollers.

I've never really used any hair extensions before (except for pink & purple synthetic pieces about 10 years ago which don't really count!) so wasn't really sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at just how easy this weft clips in. The clips on the weft are so easy to use yet feel really secure.

I stupidly forgot about my ombre hair when choosing this particular product. It looked really, really stupid in my hair, dark then blonde then dark again is not a good look! Thankfully my friend Jodie agreed to pop over and be my Guinea pig for the purpose of this review - thanks Jodie :)

Jodie is wearing the weft on the above picture, as you can see it blends in with her natural hair perfectly. Jodie's hair looked full of volume with the weft in.

The left picture is Jodie without the weft and on the right she is wearing it. It took me less than five minutes to put the weft in and Jodie's hair looked longer and fuller straight away. If I was putting it in for a big night out I would take longer to put it in and probably secure it with a few kirby grips just in case. That being said Jodie commented on how secure it felt and was very happy with the result.

I wish they would bring out an ombre version!
