Exploring The Welsh Coast : Pennard Cliffs, The Gower

National Trust are currently running a competition via facebook in which you can win a Kayaking or Coasteering experience for you and four friends simply by 'sharing your love' for the Welsh Coast. I had a look at the app and realised that I really do not take advantage of the beautiful country that I live in enough as I hadn't visited any of the selected tourist spots.

Today we decided to change this and head to Pennard Cliffs, Pennard Cliffs is situated in the Gower, Swansea. I've heard so many things about the beautiful Gower and have always wanted to visit, after today I am already looking forward to my next visit. It was simply stunning, so peaceful and relaxing, at some points it felt like we were the only two people in the world.

Looking at the clear water and golden beaches you wouldn't believe you were in Wales, I guess the cloudy sky is the main giveaway!

Have you visited the Welsh coast? If so what was your favourite part and why?

Don't forget to enter the competition here

  1. This looks absolutely amazing, so beautiful and I can't believe those beaches are almost empty, if that was Cornwall or even where I live they'd probably be rammed! xo

    1. It is such a gorgeous place, I want to go again when the weather is a bit nicer and see how busy the beach is then. If it is always this quiet we may have stumbled upon a winner! x
