M&S 2013 Poppy Appeal

With Remembrance Day just around the corner it is time to consider purchasing a Poppy. I've always fancied one of the sparkly ones that they all seem to wear on the X Factor but have never known where to purchase them. I'll be sure to pick one up now that I know.

Following the huge success of last year’s Poppy brooch that raised over £1.6 million for The Royal British Legion; Marks & Spencer will once again be selling the 2013 diamante encrusted Poppy to honour Remembrance Day.

Favoured by Royalty and celebrities alike, the now iconic embellished Poppy will be sold exclusively on the high street in all Marks & Spencer stores and online with 30% of sales going directly to The Royal British Legion.

Alongside the poppy, which is now available in two sizes, Marks & Spencer have designed a range of poppy inspired accessories to include a bracelet and a stud pin, as another beautiful way to show your support for the Legion and the families it cares for.

The Royal British Legion is the nation’s leading Armed Forces charity, spending £1.7 million every week supporting British soldiers past and present and their families. Marks & Spencer are proud to be supporting this worthwhile cause once again; the Poppy is a global symbol of British solidarity and a stunning symbol of Remembrance.

‘Wearing a Poppy is a small, yet significant gesture to honour and thank those who have bravely served, and continue to serve, so we hope people wear their poppy brooches with pride’

  1. Thanks for this, I'm always on the lookout for something different instead of the paper ones :)
