Event : M&S Food Taster & Beauty Hall

I was lucky enough to be invited to Marks & Spencer, Culverhouse Cross for a food taster event at their Deli bar restaurant and a tour around their large beauty hall. The event took place last week and I dragged along my (for once, willing) husband.

We were taken to the in-store Deli to enjoy a six course meal with wine to compliment each dish. The chefs talked us through the food and the wine expert cracked jokes and explained why he had matched the wine to that particular dish.

Me looking not so great. I didn't have time to re-do my make-up before heading down so was left wearing the same face that I'd had on all day for work!

Every single mouthful of food was delicious and every sip of wine had me wanting more. I even enjoyed the Port that came with the cheese and biscuits, I've always thought that I didn't like port. Spencer enjoyed the port so much that he bought a bottle to take home.

Once we were pleasantly full of food, booze and coffee we headed over to the beauty hall. My local M&S doesn't have a beauty hall, as a result I was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of products. They stock a huge range of both well known and not so known products and there is something suitable for everyone.

I was lucky enough to receive a very generous goody bag which I cannot wait to start working my way through, the bag alone shows you the variety of products available.

Thank you so much to Marks and Spencer and the lovely ladies at Grayling for inviting me along to such a great event.
