A Few of My Favourite Things... January 2014

January wasn't the best month ever. I spent the first two weeks ill and have spent the rest of the month moping around and feeling down. But less of the negativity and more of the good stuff, this is the stuff that I really enjoyed in January.

I'm still feeling super privileged about the fact that I went to the Clogau launch in Cardiff. You can read about that amazing evening here.

I'm super pleased with myself for keeping up with my 2014 organisation, I've managed to post one thing every week since starting my mission!

My most viewed post in January was the His & Hers Primark Haul, everyone loves a Primark haul and the involvement of Spencer seemed to go down quite well. I have two winners for the posts with the most comments as my eyebrow story & upcycled Helmer posts both received the same amount of comments.

I was lucky enough to win a deep fat fryer via ao.com's Twitter page and a box of amazing goodies from Gemma, talking of Gemma, how clever is her DIY earing storage solution?

Other blog posts that I loved in January were Bee & Luke's charity shop challenge, such a good idea! Catherine had me lusting over watercolour tattoos, like really badly. I loved Erica's honest post about how she isn't the average blogger. Sam's food posts always leave me drooling, this roasted pork shank was no exception. Madeline posted some great photography tips which have really helped me learn to use my new camera.

Huge thank you to Rai for mentioning me in her Recommended Reading post, to Emily for drawing my resolution and to Lisa for passing on the Liebester Award to me.

Another internet thing worth checking out is 101 Household Tips, there are some great ideas on the list.

Last but by no means least massive congratulations to Carlyn on your engagement!
