Week in Photos #144

This hasn't been a good week food wise, I've been feeling a bit down and have a tendency to eat my emotions, cue a big bar of chocolate everyday and being back to square one with my 2014 weight loss. I'm planning on making some Slimming World friendly treats this week such as these chocolate brownies, but it is now almost 7pm and I still haven't made them. It is looking unlikely.

Not many food photos this week, we mostly ate the stuff that we froze last week which meant duplications of last week's meals so nothing new to photograph. I had a roast dinner in Morrison's today, it wasn't the nicest food ever but cost less than £5 so I can't complain, that is a whole lot of chicken for that price!

I love this photo of Bob sniffing our flowers. He hasn't been outside yet and is always super intrigued by the scents when we bring flowers into the house.

I went out with the girls on Friday night, had a giggle and drank some very strong cocktails (amongst other things). When cocktails are buy one get one free I have a habit of asking for a surprise, I have no idea what these were but all that I could taste was tequila!

Spencer has booked tickets for us to see The Lion King when it comes to Cardiff in November, I am pretty excited!
Yesterday saw a very unusual start to the Six Nations for me, I watched it on the sofa in my PJs with tea and a very bad hangover.

  1. My cat is always intrigued by flowers around the house too!

    1. Bob has gone from being cute and sniffing them to hitting them and knocking all the petals off, little bugger! x

  2. Super cute cat pic, and really nice post, overall. Love your blog!

  3. Awww look at Bob sniffing the slowers- ha ha I'm going to try asking for a surprise too for the cocktails - that's a great idea!!! I've seen The Lion King in Manchester too for my Birthday this time last year! I love it and couldn't stop singing the songs! Really loudly hahahahah xx

    1. Bob is the cutest, when he isn't being the naughtiest lol!
I am so excited for Lion King, glad to hear you loved it! X
