Week in Photos #147

I didn't realise just how busy this week had been until I started compiling this post! We've been so busy we haven't had time to do a proper food shop hence the takeaways/random meal combinations.

Starer at The Unicorn Friday night | Main at The Unicorn Friday night | IKEA Meatballs & Dime cake | M&S beef Sushi.

We went to IKEA to have a look at the kitchens on Thursday evening, I think we've picked the one that we will be having - exciting times!

On Friday evening I went straight out from work to The Unicorn for a gorgeous meal to celebrate a colleague's Birthday. Very enjoyable food & company.

Primark Bedding | Tulips

I love reversible bedding, I used it on the other side to usual this week for the first time and it felt as if I had new bedding. My husband surprised me by buying some pretty tulips.

Bob had his big op this week, not that it bothered him, he was running around like his normal crazy self only a few hours after! I had lovely cwtches with Kitty this morning.

Happy birthday Spencer!

Yesterday was my lovely husband's birthday. I woke him up with cake and coffee. I bought a personalised cake topper from eBay and stuck it on a shop bought cake, I managed to do it without him knowing so he had a real surprise in the morning when I took the cake in. The topper came from this seller. I made him a card for his birthday as the one that I ordered hasn't yet turned up, this was a simple card that took me five minutes to make, those paper straws certainly do come in handy. We went shopping so that Spencer could buy some new clothes with his birthday money, we then had a delicious roast dinner in Decks. Spencer's parents and brother came down later on for a few drinks, a Chinese and some games.

My niece drew Spencer and me in his birthday card off her & her little brother. Apparently the dots on Spencer's face are his spiky bits, aka, his beard, she also made sure she included my glasses - so cute!

After a busy week I'm making the most of my lazy day catching up on reading blogs and watching The Devil Wears Prada - on Channel4 right now!
