This Summer Marks & Spencer have reinvented some forgotten classics. Including coconut ice, a selection of fizzy pop sweets and some delicious chocolates, there is something for everyone.
We were lucky enough to trial this yummy selection, carry on reading to see what we thought of these sweet treats.
Elderflower Raspberries £3*
White chocolate coated freeze dried raspberries with a hint of elderflower flavour - these are beautiful. I'm not the greatest fan of raspberries as I find they are often too sharp, however, combined with sweet chocolate these are perfect. I could eat them all day long.
Rhubarb & Custard £3*
Freeze dried rhubarb and wheat crispies with custard flavour white chocolate - Again, I'm not a big fan of rhubarb but wow, just wow! Just a couple of these satisfy my sweet cravings perfectly.
Jersey Milk Chocolate*
For many years I wouldn't eat any chocolate other than Cadbury's, I simply didn't enjoy other chocolates. Over the past couple of years I have started experimenting again and I have come to the conclusion that Cadbury is the only 'cheap' chocolate that I enjoy, when paying a little more for luxurious chocolates you really can taste the difference. This Jersey milk chocolate is stunning, creamy and not too sickly.
Strawberries & Cream Coconut Ice £2*
Sweet pink and white strawberry and cream flavour coconut ice - I used to love coconut ice when I was younger but I haven't had any for years, as a result I was super excited to see this in amongst my treats and couldn't wait to try it. It didn't disappoint at all, Spencer and I wolfed this down in record time! The added taste of strawberries and cream made this even nicer than I remembered.
I have really enjoyed the items that I have tried so far from the Marks & Spencer Taste of the British Isles range and am looking forward to trying more, I'm especially hoping that my local store stock the rose & violet dark chocolate and British Pudding chocolates!
