Slimming World Weekly Weigh in Results & Food Diary #3

I've had another fab week on the Slimming World plan, I'm really getting into it and am loving the support both from my group and on Instagram. Being on maternity leave is helping as I have the time to prepare delicious meals.  This week I managed to lose a further 2lbs bringing my total weight loss to 8.5lbs, I now have my first certificate and sticker for half a stone loss!

Wednesday (weigh day)
Tray bake cheesy mexican bake slimming world meal

Wednesday is weigh day which is when I allow myself to have treats - after weigh in of course!

Breakfast : 1 Alpen light and a cup of coffee
Lunch : Chicken & Pepper skewers with rice at Wetherspoons (not sure on syns) and a latte (6 syns)
Tea : Cheesy Mexican bake (1 & 1/2 syns for cheese), recipe from Slimming World website
Healthy extras : 250ml of milk used in coffee throughout the day & 2 Alpen lights

Thursday
Turkey rashers, beans & mushrooms, leeks & tomatoes

Breakfast - Syn free pancakes with banana and strawberries
Lunch - Beans, mushrooms, leek, tomatoes & turkey rashers
Tea - We ate out at The Ashbridge, I opted for the Mixed Grill, ate the meat, peas, mushrooms, tomato a tiny bit of sausage and a few chips so again, I'm not sure on syns.
Healthy Extras - 250ml of milk used in coffee throughout the day and 2 Hi-fi bars

Friday

Breakfast - Syn free pancakes with strawberries
Lunch - Tuna pasta salad with 6 Laughing Cow mini cheese (3 syns) & a caramel latte
Tea - Vegetable pasta with cheese (I had a bad day so just sprinkled this cheese on without counting the syns, naughty I know!)
Healthy extras - 250ml milk used in coffee throughout the day & 2 Alpen lights

Saturday
Homemade turkey burgers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, sweet potato fries, roasted veg & laughing cow cheese

Breakfast - 2 Alpen lights
Lunch - Syn free pancakes with banana & strawberry
Tea - Turkey burgers, tomato, onions, mushrooms, roasted veg, sweet potato fries and 4 Laughing Cow cheeses (2 syns)
Healthy extras - 250ml milk used in coffee & 2 Alpen lights
Total syns : 2

Sunday
Homemade potato rostis, beans, turkey rashers, leeks & tomatoes. Turkey fried rice. Slimming World banoffee pudding.

Breakfast - Alpen light & coffee
Lunch - Homemade potato rostis with beans, turkey rashers, leeks & tomato
Tea - Turkey fried rice
Pudding - Banoffee Alpen light with sliced banana and muller light smooth toffee
Healthy extras - 250ml of milk used in coffee & 2 Alpen lights
Total syns : 0

Monday
Homemade potato rostis, tuna & red onion and tomatoes. chicken stir fry &4 mini laughing cow cheese. Frothy hot chocolate & a hi-fi bar

Breakfast : 1 hi-fi bar & a coffee
Lunch : Tuna & red onion with tomatoes and potato rostis
Tea : Chicken stir fry 4 mini Laughing Cow cheeses (2 syns)
Pudding - Options Belgian Praline hot choc (2 syns) with healthy extra milk warmed and frothed & a hi-fi bar
Snacks : 2 Laughing Cow mini cheeses (1 syn)
Healthy extras - 250ml of milk used in coffee & hot chocolate & 2 hi-fi bars
Total syns : 5

Tuesday
Beans, potato rostis & ham. Slimming World sweet chilli crispy chicken and rice. Syn free banoffee pudding

Breakfast - Syn free pancakes with strawberries
Lunch - Hams, beans & potato rostis
Tea - Sweet chilli crispy chicken with rice (5.5 syns) - For the crispy chicken - cut a chicken breast & a pepper into thin strips, mix together 1 beaten egg, salt, pepper & 25g flour, add the chicken to the batter, coating well. Spray a baking tray with fry light, add the chicken to the tray and cook in the oven until the chicken is cooked through, then add the peppers and pop back into the oven for about five minutes, serve with with 1tbsp of sweet chilli sauce. 
Pudding - Banoffee pudding - Melt 2 banoffee flavour Alpen lights in the microwave for 20 seconds, crush into the bottom of your bowl, top with a sliced banana. Prepare gelatine and mix with half a smooth toffee muller light, pour this on top of the banana layer and set in fridge for 2-3 hours. 
Healthy extras - 250ml of milk used in coffee & 2 Alpen light bars used in banoffee pudding. 
Total syns : 5.5

As you can see I've had a bit of a mixed week, some really good days, some low syn days where I haven't eaten enough veg and some days where I've gone way over on syns! Thankfully it all seems to have evened itself out and I managed a loss. Only 5.5lbs to go until my next goal of 1 stone!
