We've decided not to go overboard on presents for Aria this year, she will be ten months old at Christmas so doesn't need much, won't understand what is going on and will probably prefer the wrapping paper anyway. Despite not going overboard we have still managed to spend quite a bit of money on two very special presents.
After much deliberation we decided to buy Aria a tepee from Just For Tiny People. We purchased the tepee as part of a bundle set which included the mat, cushions and free fairy lights. Spencer wasn't sure about purchasing this originally as it was quite expensive and he thinks that Aria is too young to enjoy it. My argument was that buying it early we are getting our money's worth as Aria can grow with it. I think that with plenty of fairy lights it can be a nice sensory play area for her.
We were going to leave it at the tepee and gifts from other family members, but then I saw the Fisher Price Beat Bo and couldn't resist. This is a very popular item and has sold out at a lot of retailers, I have just checked and Argos currently have it in stock for home delivery here.
I also bought Aria a stocking from H&M so will buy a few bits and pieces to go in here, probably stacking cups, some other cheap, small toys and a small chocolate treat.
I can't wait to snuggle up in the tepee with Aria and Beat Bo, the flashing lights and sounds from Beat Bo should be a lot of fun in the tepee!
What are you buying your little one for Christmas? Do you buy much? What do you put in their stocking?
