Tŷ Hafan Precious Moments - Cwtch

I am pleased to announce that I have been selected as an Ambassador for Tŷ Hafan's Precious Moments campaign. Tŷ Hafan are a children's charity based in Wales. They look after life limited children, young people and their families, doing what they can to make the most of every precious moment.

Tŷ Hafan provides free of charge support from diagnosis and as long as necessary for families in Wales that need them. As of February 2013 they had helped over 652 children, young people and their families. With more and more families needing support, their annual costs are rising and they now need to raise £4m each year in order to provide their services.

Their latest campaign, Precious Moments, has been set up to raise awareness across social media throughout November and December. Every Monday there will be a different theme, all starting with a letter from the word Precious. I am a little late to the campaign and have unfortunately already missed the letters P (people), R (rewarding) and E (exciting). I am however on board going forward, starting with today's letter C for Cwtch.

What are you waiting for? Go and give your children a massive cwtch and upload a photo to social media using #PreciousMoments.

It would be really great if my readers could join in and promote the campaign, a donation would also be very generous. Just £10 could pay for outreach play therapy for a family and their child, £15 could pay for half an hour of physiotherapy to ease a child’s pain and £23 could pay for an hour of support for a family.

Please get involved and share your Precious Moments across social media using #PreciousMoments. Ty Hafan can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and please, please donate here.
