A Night At The Movies

You really can't beat cosying up on the sofa with friends or family and enjoying a good film, no matter what your age, which is why when Gracewell offered to send me a DVD of my choice and some sweet treats I couldn't resist.

A night at the movies bundle Cinderella DVD, popcorn, retro sweets, hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows on white table.

Everyone of all ages enjoys films and watching a film is one of those things that brings generations together.

Growing up Cinderella was my favourite film, I remember crying for days when I spilt nail varnish remover over my video (showing my age there!). When the new Cinderella film was released I got together with the girls to watch it, I was a little worried that they may have ruined it but it did not disappoint. I enjoyed it so much that I opted to receive a copy of it on DVD for our movie night.

We put our PJs on, turned the heating up and the lights down, tucked into the delicious Joe & Seph's popcorn (note my tiny portion compared to Spencer's, I was counting my syns!), chewed on Retro sweets and sipped hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. It was the perfect way to spend a miserable winter night.

Gracewell Care Homes believe that every single one of their residents and families have individual needs for both their level of care and for the life they want to live. They often host movie nights at one of their many care homes and actively encourage residents' families attend.

  1. I'm still yet to watch the new Cinderella film, unbelievably enough! I will have to catch it on Sky Movies this Christmas :)

  2. I haven't seen this version yet but Cinderella's dress looks super pretty! I could do with one of those hot chocolates now! x
