The Jumperoo provides a safe and secure place to leave your baby so that you can get on with doing things knowing that they will be happy, which is exactly why it is worth every last penny. Having the Jumperoo means that I can drink hot coffee, I can eat food while it is still hot and I can even wash the dishes afterwards, though I'm not sure how much of a positive that one is!
So many people had told me that babies love the Jumperoo so I couldn't wait to get Aria in hers when it first arrived which meant that I eagerly put it together myself which actually wasn't too difficult at all. The instructions were clear and the parts slotted together easily, the only issue that I had were that some parts were quite stiff and required a lot of strength which I struggled with. That is still the case now when it comes to folding it down, as a result it is very often left in the upright position, but it is great having the option to fold it when we want to.
We have a small house and were told by many that the Jumperoo can be extremely annoying in a small house as it is so big and can't really be folded down, which is why we decided to purchase the space saver version, this one can be folded down quite neatly. It still takes up a fair bit of room folded up but as you can see, it can lean up against a wall without taking up much space.
The most fun of the Jumperoo is the obvious jumping, but there are also plenty of other fun parts to keep babies entertained for longer. The Jumperoo has so much going on, including music which can be either played constantly or set to play only when the baby bounces. There is a light up piano on there which Aria loves, though I do think it is a shame that the piano can't actually be played.
Aria loves to chew on the frog teether attachment when she takes a break from jumping. When we first had the Jumperoo and for several months after the toy bar was too high for Aria to be able to reach, it frustrated her quite a bit as she really wanted to get hold of that monkey. Now that it is within reach she is barely interested in it.
