Review : Wicked Uncle Pound N Tap Bench With Xylophone

We were recently picked as bloggers for Wicked Uncle and provided with a voucher code so that we could purchase a new toy for Aria. Wicked Uncle state that they are the home of brilliant children's presents and that their mission is fun.

Review : Wicked Uncle Pound N Tap Bench With Xylophone

The Wicked Uncle website is easy to navigate and you can search using various categories including age, gender and categories such as brainiac and creativity. I know a lot of people don't appreciate gender stereotyping but Wicked Uncle act as a present service, they are aware that some little girls may be into boys toys, but they are also aware that Uncle 'Bob' would appreciate simply selecting an age and gender and buying an item off a list rather than delving into a whole new world of toys.

After browsing for quite a while I eventually settled on the Pound N Tap Bench with Xylophone* (£29.95), we also bought Pippin the Puppy Blankie* (£9.95) which isn't featured in this review, we love it but there isn't much to say about it! I love traditional wooden toys so was immediately drawn to this. It is so colourful and has a lot going on which I hoped would keep my busy body fifteen month old entertained for a while.

Great news, she loves it! Her favourite things to do with it are to run away with the balls...

and of course, play some lovely tunes!

The bench has fast become Aria's favourite toy, and I can see why, there is just so much to do with it. She hasn't quite learnt how to hammer the balls down so that they set the xylophone off, but that doesn't matter as there is already so much for her to do. I think she will play with this toy for many years to come, and it seems to be of a good enough quality to last for all those years.

Have you ordered from Wicked Uncle? What are your little ones favourite toys?
