Vlog : A Day In The Life - A Clingy Toddler

This week's day in the life video was quite a disastrous day, okay that is a slight exaggeration but it wasn't a good day! It was hammering down with rain so we stayed inside all day. Aria was very clingy and whinging about everything. She said no to absolutely everything, including her yoghurt while she was eating it!

A little while ago the guys over at MuscleFood got in touch to ask me if I would like to review their eighty piece family hamper. Is This Our Unintentional Forever Home?*

*Sponsored Post*

Our house has been on the market for over a year now, and this has got me wondering - is this our unintentional forever home? Are we stuck in this small, terraced house until we are grey and old? Everyone tells you when you start out you should buy a cheap starter house, get your foot on the property ladder they say - I'm not really sure that this is sound advice, re-selling is hard! If we really are stuck here forever we have a lot of work to do, this house is not fit for the elderly!

Keeping Your Home Beautiful*

Your Beautiful Home

Beauty is an asset. There is no doubt about that. The fact that billions are spent every year on beauty treatments proves this beyond a doubt. So a person spends a lot of time and care on creating the perfect outer beauty for business or pleasure. Then, they glance around their home and suddenly all the work and expense of personal beauty seems to lose value. Your home should be part of your beauty regime. It speaks volumes of a person who is ultra meticulous about personal beauty and neglects the beauty a home should have.

Family Fun In Newcastle*

*Sponsored Guest Post*

Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in an economic and cultural sense, is the capital of Northeast England. The industrial city of Newcastle stands on the River Tyne, with its centre possessing many remarkable Victorian destinations, large shopping centres, and a lot of fascinating museums and entertainment facilities that you can share with the entire family. Keep in mind that some locations are pretty far from each other, but once you’ve arranged your car hire in Newcastle, the possibilities for sightseeing and activities with your family are versatile and wide-ranging.

A Family Meal at Cafe Rouge, Cardiff*

*Disclosure - We received a complimentary meal at Cafe Rouge in exchange for blog coverage - all thoughts are my own*

We were recently invited along to Cafe Rouge in Cardiff to sample their Autumn/Winter menu. Cafe Rouge is conveniently located in St David's shopping centre, we are huge fans of St David's as it boasts a variety of shops, restaurants and cheap parking. You can get all of your shopping done and eat some good food without having to go outside which is almost always a plus with the wet Welsh weather!

The Unintentionally Rude Blogger

I hate rude people. Those of you who know me in real life will know this. I'm always picking up on rudeness from others and very often correcting them, which is why being an unintentionally rude blogger is hard for me, and one of many reasons why I'm leaving my job to pursue my blogging career.

Finding Me Time When Dealing With An Ill Toddler*

*Written in Collaboration with Lottoland*

Dealing with a toddler can be difficult and all consuming at the best of times, add tonsillitis and Hand, Foot & Mouth into the equation and it is really bloody hard. This was my life last week. Poor Aria really wasn't well, I took the week off work as she couldn't go to nursery. I stayed in and looked after her all week, I'm not claiming that I deserve an award or anything, I'm her mam, that's what we do, I'm just saying that it was bloody hard and I needed to find an escape.
